Turned Ground & Polished Standard- PS # TGP01
Purpose:
The purpose of this standard is to clarify Parker Steel (PS) default product delivery expectations
Scope:
By signing below, the supplier shall ensure that the requirements are a part of their internal work order instructions for PS and therefore, delivered materials.
Responsibility:
The supplier will be accountable to ensure that when processing a PS purchase order, the specifications outlined below will be the standard provisions. If PS orders any material type, or deviate from the specifics of this standard, it shall then note the special requirement in detail on each purchase order line item.
All material must be cold finished
32 Max RMS
All Carbon & Alloy material must be lightly
oiled with Rust Inhibitor
Final inspection report required with delivery
on bars with OD 60mm and larger
Inch to mm conversion: mm 25.40005 = inch
Packaging (Plain-No Name or Company Logo)
23mm and under = boxed
24mm and over = individually tubed/bundled
Tolerances
Lengths +/- 6 Maximum
Carbon & Alloy – 20mm and greater = see PO
Carbon & Alloy – 19mm and under = 12 ft
All other Type and Grade = 12 ft

Up to 38mm = .0005
39mm thru 63mm = .00075
